Bio

Art is in my blood. My grandfather, my father and my sisters are all artists. I chose to spend the early part of my career as a performing artist, and I was lucky enough to have danced for 11 years all over the world for Disney, Sesame Street Live, Theater League, and locally for the ballet company Southern California Dance Theater, as well as cheering for The NFL when the Los Angeles Rams were still around. Just as starving actresses wait tables between jobs, I did makeup.

I started doing makeup for my friends in junior high for proms and got a job at a glamour photography studio in the mall called "Freeze Frame." At 19 they put me on their traveling team and I was doing fashion shows in Beverly Hills, and flying to New York for "The Sally Jesse Raphael Show." So I thought I should look into this as a career and go to beauty school. I went to beauty school and got my Esthetician license at 20. I auditioned for a few shows while in school and booked them and started dancing professionally.

When it was time to transition out of dancing, the beauty world embraced me, and I have been immersed in the beauty ever since. I have been fortunate enough to work all over the country as an educator and makeup artist on the Trucco Artistic Team for many of the world's top hairdressers including The Doves, Nick Arrojo, Teri Dougherty & Vidal Sassoon Education. Internationally, I have had the pleasure of working in Mexico & Canada, and representing the USA in Barcelona as makeup support for Adam Livermore for the Trend Vision Competetion in 2007.

I work mainly in print and live shows. My work has been featured on billboards, websites, advertising, dvds, fashion shows and over 50 magazine covers.

It's an amazing life when I get paid to paint beautiful people, see beautiful places, and create beautiful art.
